The scene in question involves Dumbledore, played by the late Sir Michael Gambon, announcing to pupils of Hogwarts that the Dementors have arrived at the school.
Clinch said: “In Goblet of Fire, there’s a moment where they need to announce that the dementors are coming, and obviously this is absolutely terrifying, terrifying news for everyone involved.
“Anyway, he comes over to the table that I’m at and puts his hand on my shoulder, looks at me directly in the face, and said, ‘The dementors are coming!’”
She revealed that “Dumbledore spat in my eyes” during the filming.
“Quite literally frothing at the mouth […] there was spit everywhere […] I might have got it in my eye,” she said.
The scene ended up on the cutting room floor and never made it to the final product, Clinch still sees it as a “career highlight.”
